The Air Surveillance Service (SVA) of Costa Rica's Public Security Ministry on Monday unveiled a new airplane meant to assist in anti-drug operations.Â
The United States Southern Command delivered a significant donation of hygiene supplies to Costa Rica's Education Ministry (MEP) in a ceremony on Friday.
The detainees were left to the order of the Public Ministry (prosecutor's office), which could prosecute them for the crime of illicit trafficking in persons.
President Carlos Alvarado praised the successful "megaoperativo," saying "intense work has generated positive results as we work toward a safer Costa Rica."
