Dear Tico Times:
I have been in Costa Rica approximately six years, and am a pensionado from Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States. I have an apartment on Avenida Central in San José. I cannot understand why the government doesn’t repair the sidewalks in and around San José.
Millions of people every week come to San José for work, shopping and tourism. I have fallen twice, my friends have fallen, and I saw two elderly women fall just two weeks ago. My friend Jack fell and broke his shoulder. That cost him $5,000 at Clínica Bíblica Hospital.
