Nature Air adds afternoon flight to Tambor

Posted: Friday, January 21, 2011 - By Tico Times

The southern Nicoya Peninsula has some of Costa Rica’s coolest and most relaxing beaches. But getting there, as everyone knows, can be challenging. There’s a 2-hour ferry with a sometimes unpredictable schedule, or there’s Nature Air.

Now, Costa Rica’s favorite airline is making it easier to get there by offering an additional daily 4:30 p.m. flight to Tambor. Flying into Tambor gives travelers access to the big breaks, quiet beaches and good living found at nearby Mal País, Santa Teresa and Montezuma. Daily flights leave San José at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. For more information, see www.natureair.com.
