When you shop in Costa Rica, take a friend

September 13, 2017
Tico Times reader Roger Hirsh sent in this photo of an unexpected face peeking out from amidst the merchandise during his recent stroll through the shops of the northern Pacific coastal town of Tamarindo.
“I’m not a resident, but I have stayed at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp about 14 times in the last eight years,” he wrote. “I truly love and respect the pura vida spirit, my happy place with great tico friends, nature, and of course, surf.”

Would you like to submit a photo to our #TTPicOfTheDay series? Please send horizontal photos at least 1100 pixels wide to kstanley@ticotimes.net. We’d love to see the sights with you.
