The British Embassy celebrated the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, a tradition that serves as a kind of annual reunion for local Britons and their friends. The event showcased all kinds of British culture, including James Bond posters, a Harry Potter room, and “Trooper” beer, a new premium bitter from Robinsons Brewery created by Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson. The Queen turned 89 this week.
