Kathleen Kidwell from the Centro Prenatal nonprofit educational and crisis pregnancy center for women in Tarcoles needs donations of anything babies use. Greatly appreciated are gently used baby clothes, toys, baby slings and baby backpacks, car seats, baby cribs and furniture. We also appreciate new clothing, bottles, diapers, pacifiers, thermometers and medications.

Friday May 24, the Funky Fresh Trio of Josh Quinlan, Patrick McDevitt and Alejandro Castano will be joined by the Cuban Saxophonist in a performance of Jazz Funk at Teatro Jacó at 8 p.m.

The Esterillos Beach Run 10K, held completely on sand, will take place just 20 minutes south of Jacó Beach, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.
