Jacó Happenings

April 12, 2013

Cacao Lounge opened December 16, 2012, as new concept of delectable art chocolates, and desserts with fresh flowers in a lounge setting. The Cacao lounge is a new concept developed over five years by partner owner and designer Marianna love.

The concept is everything dipped in chocolate, in a relaxed atmosphere. These special treats and chocolates are the recipes of Marianna and her mother from Sicily. The lounge has a café bar that serves local Atenas coffee and specialty desserts like chocolate-dipped bacon and jalapenos.

A large fountain flows daily with milk chocolate in which to dip all the delectable items. Handmade chocolates and desserts are displayed, but special orders are available as well. Fresh flowers line the staircase to the upstairs, air-conditioned lounge. Flowers are the other mainstay of Cacao lounge, and with 31 years experience in weddings and events, Cacao lounge is the perfect location for lovers and wedding planners.

The second luxury lounge features custom designed sofas, chairs and small tables with a great view, restful music and Internet. Cacao lounge has a romantic atmosphere and is available for private parties as well as the general public. Reserved parties can include up to 25 people, cost varies depending on the custom menus. Owners Clint Stallard and Marianna love originally worked together for some 15 years. Clint was Marianna’s assistant in a wedding and design business, and now he’s the official partner in this new concept.
