Arenal Report

For those of you with a green thumb, Arenal has a new garden club. If you are interested in joining, please contact Victoria Torley at torley@comcast.net.

Little Longhorn announced its opening in San Luis, near Las Brisas. The restaurant will serve burgers with all the fixings, including French fries and onion rings. You can eat in or get your order to go by calling 2692-2035. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Tico Winds offered a paddleboard demonstration on Sept. 30 with free lessons. One student posted on Facebook, “Standup Paddleboarding! What a hoot! Loved it! Will definitely do it again!”

Tico Winds will be adding paddleboard lessons and rentals to their windsurfing and kite boarding classes and rentals. For more information, visit www.ticowind.com or call 2692-2002.
