Looking to revive The Village in front of Country Day School, chef Julie Carrozzi has opened the new Café Maison de Madeleine. She loves to cook and draws on experience in New York, Florida and Nashville for her meals.

SER Om Shanti is featuring a master yoga class today from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Practice will be led by international yoga teachers Hali and Kevin. The class costs $20. Namaste.

The municipality of Santa Cruz has opened an office in Tamarindo. It is located on the third floor of the Sea Tower, just above Super Compro. The office will address needs previously handled in Santa Cruz.

Romeritos in the Garden Plaza, where Auto Mercado is located, has closed. It seems that the commercial center just cannot sustain a restaurant. How many does that make?
