Pepper Monroe and Ozzie Hoppe of Adrift Surf Shop in Esterillos Oeste are calling all citizens, friends, colleagues and humans with a passion for creative expression: The first ever Colaborarte show – a global concept of spreading art through rural communities and urban environments via art shows, residencies and exhibitions in locations where art shows perhaps have previously not existed – is having its opening exhibition featuring local art from all genres as well as art from the roving traveler. The U.S. National Football League’s Super Bowl XLVI will take place Feb. 5 in Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, and there is no shortage of places to watch the game in Jacó. Los Amigos’ $20-per-seat cover includes two drinks and a door prize raffle, with a DJ after party. The 2011 Miss Clarita’s Beauty Contest will be followed by the game at Clarita’s Oceanfront Beach Bar. Tim Odom’s SkyBar at the Hotel Poseidon on Calle Bohío, Jaco Taco and Bar Oz are just a few other spots to catch the action. Out in Tárcoles, Outback Jack’s will be featuring the fun on their 15-foot screen.
