Several airlines have slashed ticket prices up to 50 percent for flights between New York and Costa Rica beginning in November. Continental, Delta, United and American Airlines are all offering reduced fares for the holiday season. Check them out and pass this information along to friends and family up north who might want a warm December vacation this year.

Mar y Sol restaurant is going into its last week of the season until mid-November, so hopefully you had a chance to visit them before they closed for their annual green-season vacation.
