Manuel Antonio and Quepos will host a Diversity Festival July 22 and 23, starting with a dance show by Amar Academy at Liquid Lounge on Friday. Saturday will feature a presentation by a senior citizens’ folkloric group at the COPAZA Theater at 11 a.m., a drag queen show at 1 p.m. and another Amar Academy performance at 2:30 p.m. For more information, go to    festivaldeladiversidad.blogspot.com.

Josh Flagg, one of the stars of BravoTV’s reality series “Million Dollar Listing,” will be hosting a four-day dance party in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area July 21 to 25. Sponsored by Hacienda Matapalo gated community, the event kicks off with a Welcome Dinner Party July 21 at Raphael’s Terrazas in Manuel Antonio and concludes with a Sunset Tea Dance at Barba Roja on July 24. Other events include a Friday-night dance party, an afternoon floating dance party and a Jungle Heat Dance Party at Rancho Alegría.

Lilikoi Bodywaxing is now open, offering facial and body hair removal for men and women, using high-quality hard and soft wax. Located in downtown Quepos, in front of Escuela Corea by the soccer field, it’s open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours Fridays. They can go to you for special occasions and large groups. They also offer a variety of massages and facials and use only natural products.
