Notes from Puerto Viejo De Talamanca

Thanks to a couple of generous donations, funds have already been raised to purchase the required school supplies for several of the 20 students at the small Kekoldi School in Baja Talamanca (TT, Dec. 24). Now, the director of the Patino School has asked for help raising funds to buy schoolbooks for its 50 students. Grupo Nación is offering a great deal through which we can purchase all four schoolbooks for one child for about $12. School starts in February, so there’s still time.
