Witch’s Rock Surf Camp is turning the land it owns between the camp and the public parking lot into a recreation and concession area open to the public. The spot features a barbecue, picnic tables, board rentals and food and drinks available for sale. Providing access from the camp to the green space is a new, safe, 10-meter-wide culvert bridge to replace the old log everyone used to use to cross the runoff stream. The space will also include new bathrooms and a shower, open to the public from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Your Zen Yoga is offering classes throughout the area. Mondays and Wednesdays, meditation begins at 9 a.m. with yoga from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Langosta Beach Club, and a sunset yoga class is offered at 4 p.m. at the Playa Grande Inn. Instructor Dori focuses on the student as an individual, while integrating pranayama breath work and ancient Thai massage. It is a vinyasa flow type of class, Iyengar-based, incorporating alignment and connection. Private group or solo instruction is also available. For information, contact Dori at email@example.com.
It was one of the biggest weddings this town has seen in a while. Lindsey Nicole Gaston married Gianluca Arcieri Dec. 4 at a hotel on the Gulf of Papagayo in front of loads of friends and family members. We wish the bride and groom every happiness.
