November 17, 2010

The Inter-American Highway heading north will remain closed through Friday due to seven large rocks that have fallen in the roadway. The Transportation Ministry said that clean up will take at least two days.

Traffic is being rerouted to the new Caldera highway and to Route 3 through Monte del Aguacate.
