Notes from Puerto Viejo De Talamanca

A spay-neuter clinic for cats and dogs will be held tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m. in Playa Negra, just north of Puerto Viejo, at Mother Dear, next to Casa Fiesta on the road to Hotel Banana Azul. Doctors Arroyo and Solano will be performing the surgeries for ₡8,000 ($16) per animal.

Bring male or female dogs and cats that are at least 3 months old. Don’t let them eat or drink before coming, and bring a blanket to carry them home.

Be a good citizen and bring in a neighborhood stray; discounts are available. For information, call Alison at 8328-9653.
