Help save the Quepos public library! A fundraising cocktail party will be held Aug. 28 at Karolas in Manuel Antonio to raise money for the library, which is in danger of closing. Free cocktails and canapés will be offered, plus live music by Bossa Nova Trio and Fuzzy from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, available at Wide Mouth Frog hostel or 2Costa Rica Real Estate, with 100 percent of ticket sales going to the library.
