Arenal Report

June 25, 2010

After a 10-year battle with cancer, Willy Dieter Krauskopf, founder of Lucky Bug Gallery and B&B as well as Caballo Negro Restaurant, passed away June 13. Willy and his family – wife Monica and triplet daughters Kathryn, Alexandra and Sabrina, augmented lately with grandson Ian William – have been very active and well-known around the lake for many years. Their main enterprise, the Lucky Bug Gallery, about five kilometers north of Nuevo Arenal, is a popular tourist attraction and one of the most prominent enterprises at LakeArenal. Willy was 64. His funeral took place June 20.
