The Puerto Viejo Open Surf Contest is set for May 15 at Playa Cocles’ beach break. Some $1,500 in prizes will be awarded. For more information, contact Beto at beto locks@hotmail.com.

This will be my last Community Connection submission from Puerto Viejo.

Erich, Zeke and I are moving to Heredia in the Central Valley. Bill, Sue and Andrew Denley will be running Cashew Hill along with my kids, Elliot and Emily. I hope someone, like Zoe at Gecko Lodge or Julie at C & J Juice Joint, will provide future updates from the southern Caribbean coast. We will, of course, be back to visit and help at Cashew Hill.
