Earlier this month, in a regular city council session, the city zoning and planning committee was re-established and sworn in. The Zoning Plan Commission is now composed of: Marvin Elizondo, mayor of Garabito Municipality; Víctor Sáenz, Garabito Municipality engineer; Mario Boza, Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce; Fabricio Ulate, owner of El Pelícano Restaurant in Herradura; Juan Gabriel Hernández, Garabito Municipality and Municipal Police; Santiago Vargas, community representative; Roy Castellón, Garabito Municipality; Luis Alberto García, Garabito Municipality; and Johnny Rivers, Garabito Municipality.
