Notes from Puerto Viejo De Talamanca

June 5, 2009

On the restaurant scene, the Beach Hut has changed hands and has a new menu, and we are hearing really good things about it. Veronica’s Place will be moving; in July, look for the same good vegetarian and vegan food across from Cabinas Grant, upstairs.

Check out the mosaic-tiled mirrors in Swells Surf Shop in the new mall. Emily Easton, a mosaic tile artist currently traveling in India, did this wonderful work.

She will be back in mid-June, looking for mosaic work. To see a sample, visit www.freewebs.com/colortheworldmosaics.
