DHL Expands Operations Here

February 27, 2009

International shipping company DHL announced last week that it is expanding its services in Nicaragua by opening a new DHL Express center on Carretera Masaya, in “Modulo 20 del Edificio Delta.”

The express center (tel. 270-7300/ 270-7301) will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon. DHL’s administrative offices will move to Carretera Norte.

DHL Express represents more than 57 percent of the total parcel shipping market here, and the new center will help the company make deliveries even faster now, according to a release.

DHL now delivers to 10 cities in Nicaragua.
