“Water: Source of Life” Mini-Fair Honors the Earth

WATERWORKS: José Pablo Sánchez peers through a model demonstrating theunderground dynamics of water at the “Water: Source of Life” mini-fair, which tookplace June 12 at the Costa Rican Art Museum in La Sabana Park. The event emphasizedthe importance of water as a natural resource, and was a component of theMadre Fértil, Tierra Nuestra Festival honoring “Our Fertile Mother Earth.”Organized by the Terra Nostra Association, the festival encompasses a variety ofevents, including art exhibits, film and video showings, concerts, theater, dance,meetings and workshops.
